Police bid to identify man with 'lion face' tattoo found dead in Glasgow

Police have appealed for help in identifying a man found dead in Glasgow at the weekend.

They were called to Colston Road at 6.50pm on Saturday following the sudden death, which is not being treated as suspicious.

Detective Sergeant Nick Gribben from Maryhill CID says the man is in his mid-40s or 50s, with brown receding hair, around 5ft 7ins tall with an average build.

He has a distinctive lions face tattoo on his right upper arm and was wearing a 'Free Country' jacket, a grey jumper and white, a pink striped T-shirt, light blue denims with grey jogging tousers.

It's believed he may also wear glasses.

Sergeant Gribben said: "We are not treating the death as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."

If you can help contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3150 of Saturday, June 6.
