Police bid to help find missing Singleton woman Carissa Starr

MISSING: Carissa Starr.

POLICE say they hold concerns for the welfare of a woman missing from Singleton since late Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities are appealing for public help to find Carissa Starr, 30, after she left a Singleton property between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday.

Hunter Valley police began investigating that night and said they, along with Ms Starr's family, are concerned for her.

Ms Starr is believed to be travelling in a white Mazda 3 with NSW registration ECW 10Z.

Police described her as of caucasian appearance and between 165cm and 170cm tall.

She has an average build, black hair and brown eyes.

She has connections to Singleton, Tamworth and Gosford.

Anyone who has seen Ms Starr or knows of her whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report information in confidence at nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
