Police becoming increasingly concerned for welfare of missing 83-year-old William Dodds

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing man William Dodds.

The 83-year-old, from the Shildon and Bishop Auckland area , was last seen on Friday, July 5 and has not been seen or heard from since.

William, who is also known as Bill, is 5ft 8in tall, has short, grey hair and is clean shaven.

He may be seen driving a red Citroen C1.

A Durham Constabulary spokeswoman said: “This is very out of character for William, who is also known to his friends and family as Bill.

“We would urge anyone who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 352 of July 7.”
