Police are appealing for help locating a missing 66-year-old man from Seaham.
John Lovett was last seen at the North East Fishing Tackle Shop in Grangetown, Sunderland at around 11.30am on Friday.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for John's welfare and are asking for help from the public in bringing him home safely.
The pensioner has a number of scars on his head and is described as being around 5ft 8in, of stocky build with a grey beard and tattoos.
He is believed to be wearing grey jeans and black Reebok trainers.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101 quoting reference log number 178 of October 4.
