Emergency services have cleared the scene of a three-vehicle crash which took place on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Kings Avenue and State Circle near Parliament House.
A second crash was also reported by the ACT Emergency Services Agency as having taken place at the intersection of Kings Avenue and Parliament Drive, however it is unknown whether this was in fact a separate incident.
ACT fire and rescue officers removed one person from one of the vehicles involved in the three-vehicle crash, and three people were assessed by ambulance officers at the scene.
One was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The incident caused significant traffic delays on State Circle earlier on Wednesday evening, with the ESA asking drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area.
Traffic has since returned to normal, though police remain at the scene.
