Police have attended an incident involving multiple cars in Kilmarnock this evening.
A number of police vehicles raced to Western Road in the town near Knockinlaw Road just before 7pm.
An eye-witness alleges hearing a loud bang on the busy road and two damaged vehicles in a stationary state.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
