Police attend incident in Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street after reports of man falling from scaffolding

Emergency services rushed to Sauchiehall Street yesterday evening following reports of a person falling from scaffolding.

Police Scotland vans and paramedics were seen on the street near to the Beresford Lounge complex.

Reports of the accident on the busy city centre street were received at around 6pm.

Scaffolding on the junction to Garnet Street has been sealed off.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Emergency services are in attendance following a report that a man had fallen from scaffolding on Sauchiehall Street.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
