Police ask for help tracing 31-year-old missing from Pontypool

Police have appealed for help in locating a 31-year-old reported missing from Pontypool.

Nicholas Rosser was last seen at around 1.45pm on Tuesday 21 February and was believed to be near Coed-y-Gric Road, Griffithstown, Pontypool, Gwent Police said in a tweet at 10:28pm on Tuesday evening.

He is described as being 5ft 9in tall, with brown hair, and is of slim build. He is believed to be wearing black shorts, a black hoodie and a black North Face cap, police said.

Anyone with information as to Nicholas' whereabouts is asked to contact Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 2300058285. You can also contact the force via direct message on Facebook or Twitter.

Nicholas is also urged to contact the police to confirm he is safe and well.

In an appeal posted on the Gwent Police website on Tuesday night, the force wrote:

"We’re appealing for information to find Nicholas Rosser who has been reported as missing.

"Nicholas, 31, was last seen at around 1.45pm on Tuesday 21 February and was believed to be near Coed-y-Gric Road, Griffithstown, Pontypool. He is described as 5’9” tall, of slim build with brown hair.

"Nicholas is believed to be wearing black shorts, a black hoodie and a black North Face cap. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call us on 101 quoting log 2300058285. You can also contact us via direct message on Facebook or Twitter. Nicholas is also urged to get in contact to confirm he is safe and well."
