Police arrest three men following disturbance at West Lothian shop

West Lothian police officers have arrested three men in connection with a disturbance that took place at a local shop in the village of Seafield.

Police say that they had received a report of a disturbance on Redhouse Road, Blackburn at around 1.10pm on Wednesday April 26.

They say that the three men left the scene of the incident which was later found following a crash at Blackburn Cross.

Edinburgh Live reported that no injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

Officers say that they then arrested three males aged 37, 24 and 25 and that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

They added that a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a disturbance on Redhouse Road, Blackburn, Bathgate around 1.10pm on Wednesday, 26 April, 2023.

“The men left the scene in a vehicle which was later traced having crashed at Blackburn Cross.
