South Australian Police have arrested a teenager following an alleged hit-and-run crash at Morphett Vale on Tuesday night.

Police have also released details of a second wanted man.

A 20-year-old man from Sellicks Beach was killed in the crash on Flaxmill Road at about 9:50pm on Tuesday.

Police said he was a passenger in a Toyota Hilux that was involved in a collision with a Ford sedan.

Police will allege the Ford failed to stop and was later found "burnt out in a gully" off the Southern Expressway at Reynella.

The driver of the Toyota, a 22-year-old from Morphett Vale, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Flinders Medical Centre.

Police arrested the 19-year-old Ford passenger on Wednesday morning.

"It will be alleged he was a passenger in the Ford," a police statement said.

On Wednesday night, police named Michael Henley, 22, of Morphett Vale, as the suspected driver.

Mr Henley is described as caucasian, 177cm tall, with a slim build.
