
Police have arrested a shirtless man who was found covered in mud and swinging from trees near a monkey exhibit in a zoo.
The LA Times reports that John William Rodenborn, 37, scaled the walls of the Santa Ana Zoo on Tuesday. Wearing only brown trousers, he allegedly climbed the monkey exhibit and scaled a 20 foot tree.

Santa Ana police spokesperson Cpl. Anthony Bertagna, said that during the escapade the man proclaimed: “I am Tarzan.” He was arrested by officers attending the scene.
Mr Bertagna alleged that Rodenborn was in possession of methamphetamine at the time of the incident.
Zoo officials said that the incident did not disturb the monkeys and no animals were harmed.
