Police arrest 10th teenager after burglary and assault on a officer

Police officers have arrested another teenager in connection with an early morning burglary.

The 10th arrest – that of an 18-year old man – has been made, on suspicion of burglary and the assault of a police officer.

The rest of the group have also been arrested in connection with the burglary in York Street, Sutton in Ashfield in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 18 May 2019).

Nine teenagers were arrested in the early hours of this morning following the incident, which was reported to Nottinghamshire Police at around 4.35am.

All 10 teenagers remain in police custody this afternoon while detectives continue their enquiries.

Anyone with any information about the burglary is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 124 of 18 May 2019.
