A man was stabbed in the back outside a pub in Prestwich.
The victim was attacked outside the The Woodthorpe on Bury Old Road at around 5pm today (Sunday).
He was taken to hospital with 'non life-threatening' injuries, police said.
Greater Manchester Police are investigating and it is understood the attacker is still at large.
A police spokesman said: "At 5pm police responded to reports of a disturbance at the Woodthorpe Hotel.

"One male adult received a stab wound to the back.
"The man is not in a life-threatening condition.
"Enquiries into this incident are ongoing."
A spokesman for the Woodthorpe declined to comment when contacted by the M.E.N.
