Police are asking for help to trace two missing teenage girls who may have travelled to Manchester

Police are appealing for help to trace two missing teenage girls from Derbyshire who are believed to have travelled to Manchester .

Charlie Thorpe and Jasmine Henry, both 14, were last seen on Cavendish Street, Chesterfield, at about 6.30pm yesterday evening.

The pair are from Creswell and Chesterfield.

Charlie is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall and of slim build, with shoulder length blonde hair.

Derbyshire Police said she may be wearing school uniform - a black blazer, white shirt, black skirt, tights and black shoes.

Jasmine is 5ft 6ins, and of medium build with long red hair.

Police believe she was wearing white Adidas trainers with dark-coloured stripes, and was potentially carrying a large black shoulder bag.

A status on the Derbyshire Police Facebook page said: "It is thought that the girls may have had the intention to travel to Manchester."

Anyone who sees the pair is asked to contact police with crime reference number 647 of July 17.
