Police appeal to trace missing Leeds boy, 13 on Christmas Day

West Yorkshire Police have appealed for the public's help in tracing a missing 13-year-old boy from Leeds.

Juan Miguel Familia was last seen wearing a black Hood Rich tracksuit, black trainers and a Zavetti Canada coat.

In an appeal on Twitter in the early hours of Christmas Day, police urged anyone with information as to his whereabouts to get in touch via the 101 non-emergency number, quoting log 1003 24/12.

When you believe a person in your life has disappeared, it's important to act quickly to set a search in motion. Start by calling the police department to file a missing persons report, then take measures to conduct your own search. If you are extremely concerned for the welfare of the person then dial 999 and ask for the police.
