Police appeal to locate missing father and son following family court order

Police have issued an urgent call to help locate a 15-year-old boy and his father who are missing and believed to be in northern New South Wales or southern Queensland.

Zane Dal Bianco and his father Peter (Pietro) Dal Bianco, 45, are likely to be travelling in a 2004 silver Volvo with NSW registration plates CYC02X.

The Federal Circuit Court issued a recovery order on August 15 authorising all members of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the state and territory police forces to recover Zane and to return him to his mother.

The court has also made an order to allow photographs and details of Zane and his father to be published in the hope a member of the public will come forward with information.

Zane is described as Mediterranean in appearance with olive complexion, dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and approximately 170 centimetres to 175cm tall and of a thin build.

Peter is described as Mediterranean in appearance with fair complexion, black hair and hazel green eyes and approximately 180cm to 185cm tall and of a slight build.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the AFP on 131 237 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
