Police appeal to identify man after burglary at Newcastle nursing home

Police are appealing to the public to help identify a man following a burglary at a nursing home in Newcastle.

The break-in happened at 6.55pm on Thursday, December 10.

Police received a call stating a man had got into the basement of Byker Hall Nursing home and had left stealing various items such as a coffee machine, TV and a stereo.

Northumbria Police are carrying out an investigation to locate the person responsible.

Police are now appealing to the public to help identify the man pictured, as he was in the area at the time and may be able to assist officers with the investigation.

Anyone who may know this man or can help identify him are asked to report it on the Northumbria Police website quoting log 294 111220.

The public can also contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
