Police appeal to find missing woman after 'out of character' disappearance

Police have launched an urgent appeal for help to find a missing woman who was last seen in Moston.

Amanda Dandy's disappearance is said to be 'extremely out of character' and police are growing increasingly concerned.

The 54-year-old was last seen on Glen Avenue in Moston on Saturday, April 4.

She is 5ft 3in tall, of large build and has brown greying hair.

Amanda also walks with a stick and smokes heavily.

She was reported missing to GMP on April 9.

Officers said she has been spotted recently in the grounds of North Manchester General Hospital in Crumpsall.

On the GMP Manchester North Facebook page, police are asking anyone with information about Amanda's whereabouts to contact them urgently.
