Police appeal to find 'high risk' man missing in Belfast

Police have issued an appeal to find a "high risk" 49-year-old man from South Belfast.

Abhristin Ocadhlaigh, from the Ormeau Road area was last seen at 6.45pm yesterday (Sunday, May 2) leaving the Royal Victoria Hospital.

He has been descrbied as around 5'6" tall and of a medium build with short black hair. He was wearing a burgundy coloured jumper with small white dashes, navy/dark jeans and navy moccasin style slippers.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Abhristin or know any information regarding his whereabouts to contact them as soon as possible.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are looking your help in locating Abhristin Ocadhlaigh, 49 years old, from the Ormeau Road, Belfast.

"He was last seen leaving the RVH at 1845 on the 2nd May 2021. He is described as slim to medium build, 5’6” in height with black short hair. He was wearing a burgundy coloured jumper with small white dashes, navy/dark jeans and navy moccasin style slippers.

"If you have any information in relation to this male’s whereabouts please contact us on 101 quoting reference 1639 of 2nd May 2021."
