Police appeal to 'female witness' after gang attempt to steal teenager's phone in Bristol park

A gang attempted to steal a teenager's mobile phone in a Bristol park.

Officers have now launched an investigation after the attempted robbery in Knowle on Friday, March 12.

A 17-year-old boy was on a white mountain bike when he was approached by three men, between 6pm to 7pm, in Redcatch Park.

They tried to take his mobile phone and then fled in the direction of Redcatch Road.

The three suspects are described as between the ages of 18-20. Two of the men are of a larger build and the third is slim. All three were wearing dark clothing, had their hoods up and faces covered.

Avon and Somerset Police are carrying out enquiries and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened.
