Police are appealing for help to identify a man seen masturbating at a London bus stop.
The suspect, described as a white man in his 40s, committed the act at around 9pm on Saturday 15 August on South Road at the junction with Boundary Street, Erith.
The man was wearing grey shorts, black trainers and a blue hooded top at the time.
Metropolitan Police said: “Unwanted sexual behaviour on the transport network is not tolerated and all sexual offences are taken very seriously.
“Always report incidents of this nature to the police.”
Metropolitan police have recently launched the campaign “Report it to stop it” to tackle unwanted sexual behaviour on public transport in the capital.
The campaign, launched jointly with City of London, British Transport Police and Transport for London, was set up after a TfL survey revealed 1 in 10 Londoners experience unwanted sexual behaviour on public transport, but over 90 per cent do not report it to the police.
Unwanted sexual behaviour is defined as anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
Any incident of a sexual nature can be reported including rubbing, groping, masturbation, leering, sexual comments, indecent acts, or someone taking photos of you without your consent.
