Police are appealing for help to trace a missing Scottish woman who may be Belfast.
Tara O'Donnell, 38, was last seen in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh around 12.15pm on December 2.
Edinburgh police believe she may have travelled to Belfast and they have also voiced concerns for her welfare.
Tara is described as being around 5ft 3" with curly red/auburn hair. She is of average build and was wearing a waist length yellow rain coat.
Police Scotland posted on Facebook : "We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a 38-year-old woman reported missing in Edinburgh.
"It is thought that she may currently be in Edinburgh or have travelled to the Belfast area of Northern Ireland. Tara O’Donnell was last seen in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh around 12.15pm on 2nd December 2020 and there are concerns for her welfare.
"Tara is described as about 5 foot 3 inches, curly red/auburn hair, average build, wearing a waist length yellow rain coat.
"Anyone who may have seen Tara since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1698 of 03/12/2020.
The PSNI has urged anyone who may have seen Tara in Belfast to contact police in Scotland directly.
A Police Scotland spokesperson also posted on Twitter : "We are appealing for help to trace 38-year-old Tara O'Donnell, reported missing in Edinburgh. It is thought that she may have travelled to the Belfast area of Northern Ireland.
"Anyone with information is urged to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1698 of 03/12/2020."
