The 48-year-old, who lives in Troon, has not been in contact with his family since and there are growing concerns for his welfare.

Robert is described as white, 6ft 2ins tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, dark denim jeans, navy coloured trainers and carrying a brown satchel.

Police Inspector William Campbell, Response Policing at Ayr, said: "Enquires are ongoing to trace Robert to ensure he is safe and welll.

“If anyone has any information about his whereabouts or if Robert is reading this then please get in touch as soon as possible."

Anyone who may have seen Robert since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2033 of 11th July 2020.
