Police appeal for witnesses following two-car collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a two vehicle collision on a West Lothian road.

The crash occurred at around 3pm on Wednesday (June 3) on Ladeside Road in Blackburn when a white motorcycle and a blue Vuaxhall car were involved in the incident.

The 18-year-old male motorcyclist sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries and was taken by an ambulance to hospital.

The driver of the car was uninjured and stopped at the scene.

Constable Susan Nisbet, of the Road Policing Unit based at Livingston, said: “We’re appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or was in the area around that time and has dashcam footage to come forward”.

“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2043 of June 3 2020.”
