Police appeal for witnesses after pedestrian injured in collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit and injured in a late night collision.

Officers say they are particularly keen to hear from the driver of a white Audi car seen in the area at the time

The incident happened on Uxbridge Square in Menai Bridge, Anglesey, just before 10pm on Friday.

North Wales Live report one person was taken to hospital by ambulance, but the extent of any injuries is not known.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to forward, including the driver of white Audi car who officers believe may important information.

A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedestrian at around 10pm on Friday at Uxbridge Square in the centre of Menai Bridge, Anglesey.

"We are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white Audi who was seen travelling in the area at the time of the collision who we believe may have witnessed what happened. If you saw anything, or have dash cam footage of the incident, please contact us."
