Police appeal for witnesses after man in his 60s assaulted in Barton Hill

Avon and Somerset Constabulary are searching for witnesses after a man in his 60s was assaulted in Barton Hill.

A man in his 50s has already been arrested on suspicion of affray following the incident on July 10 at around 2pm near the entrance of Gaunts Ham Park, Lincoln Street.

The incident involved two men.

The victim - the man in his 60s - was not injured in the incident.

The suspect has since been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.

As part of these enquiries, police are now looking to speak to anyone who many have information about the incident or was a witness at the scene.
