Police appeal for 'sensible' parking in Belfast City Centre

PSNI on patrol in Belfast City Centre have issued an appeal to drivers, after two cars were found parked across a footpath.

In a post on Twitter on Wednesday evening, a police spokesperson asked drivers to show more consideration for others.

The post read: "Parking restrictions are temporarily relaxed but this shouldn’t tempt you to park like this. Someone pushing a pram or a wheelchair user would be forced onto one of our busiest streets.

"If you need to be in the City Centre, please park sensibly with consideration for others."
