Police appeal for public's help to find missing pensioner from Scotland thought to be Greater Manchester

Police in Scotland are appealing for the public's help to find a missing a pensioner thought to be in Bolton. Patrick Harvey, 69, has been reported missing from the Kilsyth area.

He is believed to have travelled by train from Glasgow Central railway station to Blackpool at around 9.30am on Sunday, July 3. Following further enquiries, police now believe Mr Harvey was in the Bolton area on Wednesday, July 13.

Sgt Pamela McFarlane said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to trace Patrick. It is out of character for him to be away for so long and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. We have had reported sightings of him in Blackpool but we now believe that he is in the Bolton area."

Anyone who has information about Patrick’s whereabouts, or who has any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 1051 of July 4.
