Missing teenager who vanished from home may be in Glasgow

Police have launched an appeal for information over a teenage boy who has been missing from his home since Thursday.

Teenager Liam Thomson has made no contact with family or friends since going missing from his Blanefield home.

He was last seen late on Thursday afternoon.

Police in Forth Valley say there are there are "growing concerns for his welfare".

He is described as white, 16-years-old, brown curly hair, 6 ft tall, and was wearing all black.



Liam was seen heading along the A81 towards Milngavie.

He is known to have links to the Hamiltonhill area of Glasgow.

A police spokesman said:"We are keen to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to Liam since Thursday.

"We also ask that anyone traveling around the central belt and Glasgow areas is vigilant and report any sightings of Liam by calling 101, quoting incident 3292 of 17 October."
