Police appeal for missing man

Police in Perth are appealing for information to help trace a 33-year-old man missing from Inchture.

Robert Ransford was last seen at his home address in Orchard Way, Inchture around 1.30am this morning (Sunday, 22 December).

Robert is described as 6ft tall, of slim build with short light brown hair. He has tattoos of a thistle, a Highland cow and a button on his left arm.

He was believed to be wearing a dark blue jacket. He is believed to be driving a blue Peugeot 208 reg. AK13 YGC.

He also has connections to the Fort William area.

Sergeant Nichola Forrester, of Blairgowrie Ericht Lane Police Station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Robert’s welfare and are keen to trace him as soon as possible.

"Anyone who may have seen Robert or the car he is driving is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any officer, quoting incident number 1209 of 22 December."
