Police issue appeal for missing Hamilton teen last seen at weekend

Police are continuing their search for a missing Hamilton teenager.

Madison Chassels was last seen on Saturday, September 13, at around 1.55pm in Fraser Crescent, Hamilton.

Madison, aged 14, is white, around 5 ft. tall, with a medium build, long dark hair and has her nose pierced. When last seen, she was wearing a grey jumper, black jeans and black leather gilet.

Extensive enquiries are under way to find her, however, all attempts to locate her have so far proved unsuccessful.

Sergeant Pamela McGillvray said: “Madison’s family is understandably concerned for her.

“Given her age and the fact that she has not been in contact with anyone, our concern for her is growing.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen Madison or who has any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts to contact us. Everyone just wants to know she is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3061 of 12 September, 2020.
