Police appeal for missing Hamilton man (59)

Police Scotland are seeking the assistance of members of the public in tracing a man who reported missing from Hamilton.

Russell Calder (59) was last seen leaving his home address in Hamilton around 9.45am on Wednesday, April 10, indicating his intention to attend Hamilton Town Centre.

Russell failed to return home. His family have been unable to contact him and are growing increasingly concerned for him.

Russell is described as 5ft 7, medium build, short brown hair. Wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, blue shirt and grey boots.

He has previously frequented Glasgow, Ayr and Perth and has an interest in books and record shops and regularly attends charity shops in the Hamilton and Glasgow area.
