Police appeal for missing coat stolen from The Duke of York bar in Belfast

Police have issued an appeal for a coat that is believed to have been stolen from a popular Belfast bar over the Christmas period.

The puffer coat with a fur trimmed hood went missing from the Duke of York bar in Belfast city centre.

A report was received by police stating the coat was stolen from the bar at around midnight on Sunday, December 19.

In a statement issued on social media, Police North Belfast said: " Police received a report of a coat being stolen from the Duke of York Bar in Belfast City centre. This occurred at around midnight on Sunday 19th December 2021. A picture of this coat is attached.

"If anyone has any information regarding this please contact PSNI on 101 quoting reference 1034 of 20/12/21."
