Police appeal for information over Melba shooting

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward following a shooting incident in Belconnen late last week.

Officers responded to reports of shots being fired from a car on Conley Drive in Melba about 10.15pm on Friday.

No one was injured in the incident, but a number of bullet holes were found at the scene.

It is not believed the shooting was linked to outdoor motorcycle gangs.

Police have said they would like to speak to anyone who saw or captured on dash-cam a white 2009 BMW 135i driving in the area at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information has been urged to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
