Police appeal for information on 16-year-old girl who has been missing for two days

Police are appealing for information to find a teenager from Newport who has been missing for two days.

Wendy Dally, 16, from Newport was reported as missing on Wednesday, January 27 and concern is growing for her welfare.

Wendy, who has links with Pontypool and Cwmbran, is described as being 5 ft 5 and has long dark hair with purple in it.

Police say she was last seen wearing black leggings and a mustard-coloured coat with a fur collar, along with a black backpack.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Gwent Police. Wendy is also urged to get in contact to confirm she is safe and well.

A statement from Gwent Police said: "We’re appealing for information to find missing 16-year-old Wendy Dally.

"Wendy from Newport was reported as missing on Wednesday, January 27 and concern is growing for her welfare.

"She is described as being 5 ft 5 and has long dark hair with purple in it.

"She was last seen wearing black River Island leggings and a mustard coat with a fur collar. She also had a black backpack.

"Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call us on 101 quoting reference 2100031229.

"Wendy is also urged to get in contact to confirm she is safe and well."
