Detectives are continuing to appeal for information after a young dad was knifed to death in the street in Rochdale.
David Gavin, 23, died after a fight in the Newbold area of the town last week.
Dad-of-one Mr Gavin's partner is due to give birth to their second child any day.
And officers say anyone who might have any information about exactly what happened in the lead-up to his death to come forward immediately.
Police were called to Berwick Street in Newbold shortly before 9pm on Friday May 17 to reports of an ongoing fight.
GMP say they believe the disturbance had been going on for around 20 minutes before they were called and at some point Mr Gavin was stabbed.
He was rushed to hospital but sadly died of his injuries.
Mr Gavin, a landscape gardener who moved to Rochdale from London leaves behind a three year-old daughter Elizabeth.
His family are still being supported by specially trained officers. His partner Bridget, 22, is today said to be still too devastated to speak about the tragedy.
A 25-year-old woman has already been arrested on suspicion of murder and assault has since been released under investigation.
A second woman, aged 21, has also now been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
She remains in custody for questioning.
Yet police insist their enquiry is ongoing, and are urging anyone who may have information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Cheryl Chatterton, from GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “Our thoughts remain firmly with David’s family at this terrible time.

“While our investigations continue, they are being offered support from specialists as they deal with this devastating news.
“We believe the fight lasted for around 20 minutes before the call came into police and at some point David was stabbed.
“It was getting dark around the time of the incident. I appreciate there may not have been many people in the area but if you saw something, no matter how insignificant it may seem, then please get in touch.
“We know that a number of people in the area heard the disturbance, so if you do have something to tell us but you’ve not yet made contact, please do so at your earliest opportunity.”

Speaking after his death, Mr Gavin's ather-in-law Bill Reilly, who was in Jamaica when he heard the tragic news, said"There won't be another son-in-law as good as him. He really was a lovely man. It's heartbreaking.
"He was trying to make a home for my daughter and kids. [Bridget] is so shocked.
"I'm literally in a state of shock myself. I'm devastated.
"I need to be there for my daughter."
