Police appeal for information after pedestrian killed in Cardross Road incident

Police have launched an appeal for information after a pedestrian was killed on the A814, Cardross Road.

The incident happened around 11.20pm on Sunday July 10 and involved a white Skoda Fabia and a pedestrian, with a 42-year-old man rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he passed away yesterday (Monday).

Sergeant Kevin Craig, of the Dumbarton Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died in this crash and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who saw what happened to contact us.

“I would also appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam footage which could assist our investigation to get in touch.”
