Police appeal for information after keen walker in his forties goes missing from Brecon

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information after a keen walker went missing from Brecon. The force said a man in his 40s, who they named as David, was last seen at around 10am on Saturday morning in Brecon and they'd like to hear from anyone who has seen him, or knows where he is.

David is 6'1 tall, has a short beard and usually wears glasses, officers said. He is believed to have been wearing a black Berghaus jacket and black trainers. Anyone who has seen David, or has any information on his whereabouts, is asked to call police on 101, or to email 101@dyfed-powys.police.uk quoting reference number DP - 2022 03 26 - 286.

A statement on social media from Dyfed Powys Police said: "MISSING. Can you help us find David, in his forties from Brecon? He is described as approx 6'1" tall, slim build, has short dark brown hair, usually wears glasses, and has a short beard. He is believed to possibly be wearing black trainers and a black Berghaus jacket. David was last seen at approx 10am this morning in Brecon. He likes walking, in particular hill walking.

"Have you seen David, or do you have info that might help us find him? Please, let us know [email]: 101@dyfed-powys.police.uk, [call] 101, quote reference: DP-2022 03 26-286 If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired text the non-emergency number on 07811 311 908."
