Police are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Johnstone.
Around 7am on Friday, December 3, members of the public reported a 4x4 vehicle being on fire.
Emergency services rushed to Thornhill to extinguish the fire that had caused significant damage to the vehicle.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and concluded the incident was wilful.

The enquiry is now being handled by Paisley CID who have carried out door to door enquiries and CCTV reviews.
Witnesses with any information are asked to call police on 101 quoting reference KB0031 1221.
