Police appeal for help to find woman missing from Howwood

Police  are trying to trace a 58 year-old woman  who is missing from her home in Howwood. 

Carolyn Stirling was last seen at 3pm yesterday.

She is described as being around 5ft 5ins in height with short  brown hair cut above her ears. She has a slim build  and has the name Alan tattooed on the back of her neck.

She was last seen wearing a white puffer style Superdry jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.

A police spokesman said:“Carolyn went missing from her home address without any explanation and has several health issues, which may affect her balance and memory.

"Carolyn has previously been reported as a missing person however has attended at a friend or family member’s house or contacted them. 

"Carolyn has not been in contact with any family members or friends which is out of character. She is known to frequent Johnstone town centre and has connections in the Springburn area of Glasgow.

"We just want to make sure she is okay and would appeal to anyone who may be in this area to look out for her.

"We would urge anyone who has seen Carolyn or anyone with any information is asked to contact Police via 101.

"Carolyn, if you see this, please contact us to let us know you are okay."
