Police appeal for help to find missing boy, 15, who 'may be in a distressed state'

UPDATE: Mckenzi has now been found safe and well.

Police are appealing for help to find a missing boy who 'may be in a distressed state'.

Mckenzi Platt-Barnes is missing from his home on Alliott Avenue in Eccles, Salford.

He went missing between 6am and 7.45 on Sunday (October 25), police said.

The 15-year-old was last seen wearing black Nike jogging bottoms, a black Next coat and possibly had scruffy-looking trainers on, police said.

He is described as a white male, slim build, about 1.65 metres tall with brown eyes and short, dark hair.

Officers said he 'may be in a distressed state'.

Police are becoming 'increasingly concerned for him' and want to make sure he is safe and well.

They are asking anyone with information about where he is to get in touch.

Anyone with information about Mckenzi's whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0161 856 8351.
