Police are appealing for help to find a missing 12-year-old boy.

Tommy Chambers, from Morecambe, was last seen around 7.30pm on Wednesday (December 29).

In an appeal posted on Facebook, police said he is described as white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build with blonde and brown medium length hair.

"Tommy was wearing a black North Face tracksuit and black and white NP trainers at the time of his disappearance," police said.

"He has links to Morecambe and is known to visit the town centre, Poulton Park, Euston Grove, Regent Road and West End areas."

Police added that they are "concerned" for Tommy's welfare and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone who can help should call officers immediately on 101 quoting log 1397 of December 30.
