Police appeal for help in tracing Glenrothes man who disappeared 11 days ago

Police have launched an appeal for a missing Glenrothes man who vanished 11 days ago.

Ricky Smith was last seen by his family at his home in Markinch on January 26.

Investigators have put out an appeal for information on the whereabouts of the 51-year-old as his family have been unable to contact him since.

The Fife man has access to a black Vauxhall Zafira with the registration DU10 NZM.

It has been suggested that he may have been frequenting the Highlands area at the time of his disappearance.

Ricky has been described as black, 6ft 1ins and of large build with short dark hair.

It is unknown what he was wearing at the time.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Anyone who may have seen Ricky or who has information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3368 of February 5.”
