Police appeal for help in search for missing man last seen in Wigan

Police are asking for help in the search for a missing 47-year-old man from Wigan.

Darren Hunt was last seen at around 10pm yesterday evening (Sunday) near the Nisa convenience store on Manchester Road, Ince Bar.

Police say he has an MUFC tattoo on his forearm and a dragon tattoo on his shoulder.

An officer from GMP's Wigan West team have appealed on Facebook for more information about the missing man.

They said: "Police are growing increasingly concerned for a missing person, Darren Hunt, have you seen him?

"Hunt was last seen wearing a green jacket with a badge on the arms, jeans and tanned Henley shoes.

"He was on a dark bronze Raleigh mountain bike with lights on it.

"He is described as 5'2" tall, 47 years of age and has dark brown hair in a short back and sides style."

Police also published a picture of Mr Hunt in an effort to find him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 999 or 101 and quote reference number 267-01/03/2021.
