Police appeal for help finding missing 60-year-old woman from Wigan

Police are looking for a woman who has been missing from Wigan since Tuesday.

Christine Foster was last seen at around 4.30pm on Greenslate Road in the Orrell area of the town.

The 60-year-old is described as white, slim, five foot tall and with shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes and dark coloured glasses.

Police say they are increasingly concerned for Christine's welfare and have asked anyone with information regarding her possible whereabouts to contact them on 0161 856 7032.

Greater Manchester Police said on Facebook late on Thursday night: “#APPEAL | Can you help police find a missing Woman from #Wigan?

“Christine Foster, 60, was last seen on Greenslate Road, Wigan, at around 4.30pm on the 17th November 2021.

“She is described as white, of slim build, 5 foot tall and with blonde shoulder length hair, blue eyes and dark coloured glasses.

“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Christine and want to make sure she is safe and well.

“Anyone with information about Christine's whereabouts should contact police on 0161 856 7032.”
