Police want anyone with dashcam footage of a fatal bus accident in Ulladulla on July 1 to come forward, as investigations into the death of a 14-year-old girl continue.

Shortly after 3pm (Wednesday, July 1), emergency services were called to South Street, Ulladulla, following reports a student had been hit by a bus outside a school.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the girl died at the scene. Police told the media on Thursday, July 2 that the bus driver had tested negative to drugs and alcohol, and had been released after mandatory testing.

Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing, and police have asked anyone who was in the area with a dashcam to please come forward.

Police expressed their condolences to the girl's family and members of the school community.

She has not yet been publicly identified.

It is understood that about a dozen children were on the bus at the time of the accident.
