Police appeal for dashcam footage after motorcyclist dies in Weston-Super-Mare crash

Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a motorcyclist died following a crash in Weston-Super-Mare yesterday (June 1).

Emergency services attended the incident and the 50-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on the A370 last night.

A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: "We’re appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a two-vehicle collision in Weston-super-Mare in which a person sadly died.

"The collision, between a car and a motorcycle, happened at about 6.25pm yesterday (Tuesday 1 June) on Hildesheim Bridge.

"Emergency crews were called to the location but the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

"His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers."

Anybody who saw the collision or who has information is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101.
