Police appeal following motorbike theft

Officers are appealing for information following the theft of an off-road motorbike from a property in Armadale

The orange KTM EXC 300, registration number OY71 RVV, worth around £8000, was taken around 2am on Thursday (August 11), when a house's garage was broken into at Old Course Road.

Three men were seen at the time and detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen them before and after the break-in.

The suspects arrived on foot and were wearing balaclavas and gloves. They left on foot pushing the motorbike a short time later.

Detective Constable Jennifer Rogers, of Livingston CID, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace these men. If anyone saw them or knows who they are then please get in touch.

“In addition, if you have private CCTV or dash-cam that could assist with our investigation then please contact us.”

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0817 of Thursday, 11 August, 2022, or get in touch anonymously with the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
