Officers are appealing for information after a woman was bitten by a dog in County Durham.
Durham Constabulary received a report that a woman was bitten by a dog between 3.30pm and 4pm on Sunday (October 16) on Chillingham Drive in Chester-le-Street. It's believed the dog was a German Shepherd and was with a male owner.
The owner is thought to be around 5ft 9 of slim build and was also thought to be with a woman and two young boys. Officers are now keen to speak to the owner and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Chester-le-Street Police said: "Police are appealing for information after a woman was bitten by a dog in Chester-le-Street. The incident occurred between 3.30 and 4pm on Sunday (October 16) on Chillingham Drive.
"The owner of the German Shepherd is thought to be around 5ft 9 of slim build, the man was also thought to be in company with a woman and two young boys.
"Officers are now keen to speak to the owner. Anyone who is able to identify the owner is asked to contact PC Emma Bartley on 101 quoting incident number 64 of October 17."
