Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of teenage boys on Fishponds Road.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary officers are looking for information after the teenager was attacked near Eastville Park at around 11.45pm on Sunday, May 26.
One of the offenders stole the victim's phone during the assault before entering a shop nearby.
When the victim tried to retrieve his phone he was attacked again inside the shop, this time being struck over the head with a glass bottle. The boy was left wounded by the assault.
As part of their appeal police have described one of the offenders as having been wearing a distinctive red jacket.
Three boys, aged 15, 16 and 17 have been arrested in connection with the incident. The 15-year-old was released on police bail, whilst the others have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
